Eric Liautaud is the Founder and Managing Partner at C&E Accounting and Consulting, PLLC, a newly established family-owned accounting firm dedicated to providing personalized, reliable, and comprehensive financial services in North Carolina and Florida. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 20 years of professional experience, Eric brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his clients, offering solutions that are both strategic and practical.

Eric graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in Management Information Systems from Bryant University. He completed his studies at the University of Miami with a master’s degree in professional accounting. He is also a certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor.

Eric started his career at Deloitte as an external auditor where he gained exposure to a number of industries including entertainment and media, manufacturing, real estate, retail, sports and recreation, and telecommunications. 

Eric expanded his knowledge by transitioning into industry accounting. At Jus Naturels, SA, in his capacity as CFO and Director of Operations, he gained invaluable experience by developing a restructuring plan, identifying cost-cutting opportunities and obtaining financing to infuse much needed capital into this manufacturing business.

Eric continued his professional journey by joining AutoNation, Inc where he spent the next 18 years of his career. Through his various roles in Internal Audit, General Accounting, IT Finance and Marketing Finance, Eric learned critical skills such as financial auditing, designing internal controls, technical GAAP research, creating and continuously improving processes, task automation, financial system setup, budgeting, forecasting, talent management and cross-functional team leadership among others. As Vice President of IT Finance, he strategized with executive management to develop restructuring plans and identify cost-saving opportunities. His desire to offer more personalized and approachable accounting services led him to take the next step in his career by launching his own firm.

Outside of his professional life, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenage boys, family and friends, exploring the outdoors and traveling.  

Claudia Saldana-Liautaud is the co-founder and managing partner at C&E Accounting and Consulting, PLLC, where she brings 20 years of experience in the accounting field. With a strong passion for financial accuracy and client success, Claudia specializes in business accounting, payroll processing and auditing. Her in-depth accounting knowledge enables her to provide strategic advice that helps clients optimize their financial position.

After earning a bachelor's degree in business administration with a major in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University, Claudia began her career in public accounting at Deloitte as an external auditor. During her tenure she learned critical skills such as financial auditing and developing project plans and budgets. She benefitted from exposure to several industries including manufacturing, retail, telecommunications, hospitality, and insurance. She continued her career as an external auditor at Mérové-Pierre Cabinet d’Experts Comptables where she audited profit and non-profit organizations and recruited, trained and supervised audit staff. 

Claudia expanded her knowledge by transitioning into industry accounting. During her tenure at Claire’s Stores, Inc, Gémaire Distributors and later at JM Family Enterprises, Inc, Claudia sharpened her skills in developing policies and procedures and designing internal controls; budgeting, accounting, analyzing and reporting on operational performance to executive management; preparing and filing sales and use tax. Finally, as an accounting manager Claudia built her leadership skills as she mentored and trained her staff. 

Claudia is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and a Certified ProAdvisor in QuickBooks Online Payroll. She specializes in helping small businesses streamline their accounting and bookkeeping processes. She has completed training in QuickBooks and stays up to date on the latest features, tools and best practices. 

Claudia is known for her exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and commitment to providing personalized service. She takes the time to fully understand each client’s unique situation, ensuring the best possible financial outcomes.
